How to Apply for Assistance

This year applications for Blue Santa are available at:

  • Georgetown Police Department - 809 Martin Luther King, Jr. St.
  • GISD School Counselors
  • The Caring Place

Blue Santa assists children who:

  • Qualify for free or reduced fee lunch at school (or meet federal poverty guidelines)

  • Pre-school or grade school through high school children who live in the Georgetown City Limits.

Other holiday programs in Georgetown include Project Share and Brown Santa. Collection barrels for Project Share are at many businesses and offices in Georgetown. Barrel for Brown Santa are at county offices and businesses throughout Williamson County.

Applications for Project Share, which provides food to low-income families during the holidays, should be made at The Caring Place.

For information about Brown Santa, a program of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office to provide toys for children who live in Williamson County outside City Limits of towns that provide a similar program, call (512) 943-1400.



How to Apply for Assistance from Blue Santa

In order to apply for assistance from Georgetown Blue Santa:

  1. Complete a paper copy of the application which will be distributed via GISD schools and located at the Georgetown Police Department and The Caring Place.

  2. Remember, the deadline for all applications to be received by the Georgetown Police Department's Blue Santa Program is WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3.
